SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON EARTH DAY BY ARAVALI HOUSE
On 22 April , 2026 Aravali House conducted a special assembly on the occasion of Earth Day, spreading awareness about environmental conservation.The assembly included a speech, a poem etc. all highlighting the importance of protecting our planet.The message of reducing pollution, saving trees, and adopting eco-friendly habits was effectively conveyed. The assembly concluded with a pledge to protect the environment. The Principal, in her address, appreciated the efforts of the students and emphasized the importance of adopting sustainable practices in daily life. The programme was well-received by all.


BLOOMING CREATIVITY: INTER-HOUSE FLOWER ARRANGEMENT COMPETITION
The Inter-House Flower Arrangement Competition was organized in Sandalwood, on 22 April 2026 ,with great enthusiasm and creativity on the school premises.
The event aimed to nurture aesthetic sense, creativity, and teamwork among students.Students from all four Houses participated actively and showcased their artistic skills through a variety of floral arrangements.The participants used fresh flowers, leaves, and eco-friendly materials to create beautiful and eye-catching designs.The competition was judged on criteria such as creativity, presentation, use of materials, and overall impact. The judges appreciated the efforts of all participants and were impressed by the innovative ideas and artistic expression displayed by the students.The event not only encouraged healthy competition but also helped students develop a sense of appreciation for nature and teamwork.The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving behind a fragrance of creativity and inspiration.

REPORT ON INVESTITURE CEREMONY AND FELICITATION CEREMONY
On 18 April , 2026 Sandalwood School, Dehradun, proudly organized the Investiture Ceremony combined with the Felicitation Ceremony on the school premises, marking a momentous occasion filled with pride, responsibility, and celebration.
The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana, invoking blessings for wisdom and success.
The Investiture Ceremony was conducted to formally entrust responsibilities to the newly elected Student Council.The young leaders of all four Houses (Aravali, Himalaya , Shivalik & Vindhyachal House) were conferred with badges and sashes, symbolizing their roles and duties.
The Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, and other council members pledged to uphold the values and discipline of the school with sincerity and dedication.
The Director of the school Dr.(Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma and Secretary Mr. Shashi Bhushan Sharma addressed the gathering, congratulating the achievers and encouraging the newly appointed council members to lead by example.
Following this, the Felicitation Ceremony was held to honour the achievements of students who excelled in academics and attendance. Awards and Mementoes were presented to deserving students in recognition of their hard work and excellence.
Mrs. Vibha Rawat addressed the gathering, congratulating the achievers and motivating the student leaders to strive for excellence and uphold the school’s values.
The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, staff and students for making the event a grand success.

REPORT ON QUIZ COMPETITION (CLASSES III TO XI)
A Quiz Competition based on the final examination syllabus was successfully organized in Sandalwood school for the students of Classes III to XI. The event aimed to revise important concepts in an engaging manner and to encourage students to strengthen their academic preparation.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from all classes. The quiz included questions from major subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Computer according to the respective final exam syllabus. Students competed in teams and showcased their knowledge, presence of mind, and confidence.
The event was conducted in multiple rounds such as Rapid Fire Round, Subject Round etc. making it both informative and exciting. The participants responded quickly and displayed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the competition.
The competition concluded with the announcement of winners . Overall, the quiz competition was a great success and created a joyful learning environment in the school.
ISC FAREWELL (2025-26)
“Bon Voyage Bash”
The school organized a warm and memorable farewell ceremony for the students of Class XII titled “Bon Voyage Bash”, to bid them a fond farewell as they prepared to embark on a new journey. The programme was thoughtfully organized by the students of Class XI.
The event began with a cordial welcome of the esteemed Director Dr. (Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma, Secretary Mr. Shashi Bhushan Sharma and CAO Mr.Pranay Shikhar followed by the Lighting of Lamp Ceremony along with the teachers, and the outgoing students of Class XII.
In their inspiring addresses, the dignitaries motivated the students to remain focused, disciplined, and confident while pursuing their future goals.
The celebration was enriched with a series of cultural performances including melodious songs, energetic dance performances, and engaging activities, which added joy and liveliness to the occasion. Interactive sessions, games, and special title rounds created an atmosphere of excitement, laughter, and nostalgia.
A special highlight of the programme was the selection of Miss Sandalwood and Mr. Sandalwood ,which added more excitement and elegance to the event.
The Class XII students also took the opportunity to share their experiences and express heartfelt gratitude towards the management and teachers for their constant guidance, encouragement, and support. Souvenirs and special titles were presented to the students as a token of love and remembrance.
The “Bon Voyage Bash” left behind beautiful memories and strengthened the bond between students and the institution.

ENGLISH STORYTELLING COMPETITION
An English Storytelling Competition was organized for the students of Class I and II to enhance their speaking skills and confidence. The young participants presented short stories with great enthusiasm, using expressions, actions, and simple props. The event encouraged creativity and language development among the students.
VASANT PANCHAMI CELEBRATION
The school celebrated Vasant Panchami with devotion and enthusiasm during the morning assembly.The assembly began with the Saraswati Vandana, followed by the Vasant Panchami Puja, which was performed with traditional rituals. Teachers and students offered flowers and sought the blessings of the Goddess for academic excellence and creativity.
The celebration concluded with Prasad distribution, leaving students and staff inspired and spiritually uplifted.
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
The school celebrated the 77th Republic Day of India on 26 January 2026 with great pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervour. The programme was organised in the school premises and witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and staff members.
The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with a deep sense of respect and unity.
The Director of the school Dr.(Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma and the Secretary Mr Shashi Bhushan Sharma addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of Republic Day and reminding students of their duties as responsible citizens of India.
Students presented patriotic songs, dance, and speech reflecting the values of freedom, equality, and democracy enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

EDUCATIONAL TRIP TO GRAPHIC ERA DEEMED UNIVERSITY & GRAPHIC ERA HILL UNIVERSITY
An educational trip for the students of class 10th,11th and 12th ,was organized for the students to Graphic Era Deemed University and Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, with the objective of providing exposure to higher education, emerging career options, and practical learning beyond the classroom. Students visited various departments including Animation and iOS Development, Mechanical Engineering, Mass Media and Communication, Fashion Designing, BBA, BCA,CPA etc.
Faculty members briefed students on course structures, practical applications, and career prospects. The visit helped students gain valuable insights into modern technology, creative fields, management studies, and professional courses. The trip was informative and inspiring, broadening students’ academic perspectives and motivating them to plan their future careers.
The educational trip proved to be highly informative and motivating. It helped students understand the scope of various academic disciplines, encouraged career-oriented thinking, and broadened their perspectives on higher education.
WORKSHOP ON POCSO ACT AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS FOR TEACHERS
A workshop on the POCSO Act and Leadership Skills was conducted for the teaching staff to enhance awareness of child protection and professional leadership. Teachers were sensitized about legal responsibilities under the POCSO Act, child safety measures, and their role in creating a secure school environment.
The leadership session focused on effective communication, teamwork, decision-making, and positive classroom management. The resource person emphasized communication skills, team building, decision-making, conflict resolution, and leading by example. Teachers were encouraged to adopt positive leadership qualities to inspire students and contribute to a healthy academic atmosphere. The workshop was informative and interactive, strengthening teachers’ commitment to child safety and effective leadership in education.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION:
The school celebrated Christmas with great joy and festive spirit on the school campus. The celebration began with a Special Assembly, where students and teachers gathered to mark the occasion of love, peace, and goodwill.
The assembly commenced with a speech highlighting the significance of Christmas and the message of kindness, sharing, and compassion taught by Lord Jesus Christ. This was followed by a melodious Christmas carol, beautifully sung by the school choir, which filled the atmosphere with cheer and enthusiasm. Students also presented a vibrant dance performance on Christmas-themed music, spreading happiness and festive energy among everyone present.
The campus was decorated with Christmas symbols, adding to the joyful ambience. Students enjoyed a party lunch. CONSTITUTION DAY ADDRESS AND VANDE MATARAM PRESENTATION:
The Sandalwood school observed Constitution Day on 26th November 2025 (Wednesday) with a special morning assembly. The programme began with a soulful rendition of “Vande Mataram” (completed 150 years) by the school choir, setting a patriotic tone.
The Secretary Mr. Shashi Bhushan Sharma and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Mr. Pranay Shikhar addressed the gathering with an insightful speech on the significance of the Indian Constitution, its core values, and the role of citizens in upholding them. Students were encouraged to practice the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity in their daily lives. The observance concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and responsibility among students and staff.
ANNUAL SPORTS DAY:
The Annual Sports Day of Sandalwood School was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement on 31st October, 2025in the school playground. The entire ground was beautifully decorated with colorful flags. The event began with the welcome of the dignitaries honourable Director Dr.(Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma and Secretary Mr. Shashi Bhushan Sharma who declared the Sports Meet open.
The programme commenced with the Ganesh Vandana followed by March Past by the students of all houses, displaying discipline and team spirit. A variety of track and field events such as 100m race, 200m race, relay race, Bunny Race, Color Sorting Race, Balancing the Book, Sack Race etc. were organized for different classes.
Students participated with great zeal and determination, showcasing their strength, stamina, and teamwork. The parents also took part in fun races like Spoon Marble Race adding joy and laughter to the event. The highlights of the day were Yoga and Aerobics. The athletes put up spectacular performances.The audience cheered for them, creating an atmosphere filled with energy and encouragement.
The winners were awarded medals and certificates by the Director of the School Dr.(Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma, who in her address appreciated the efforts of the students and emphasized the importance of sports in developing leadership qualities, discipline, and teamwork. INTER HOUSE DEBATE COMPETITION:
Topic: “Should tourism be banned in order to save the environment?”
An Inter-House Debate Competition was organized in Sandalwood School on 17th November ,2025. The event aimed to develop critical thinking, public speaking skills, and environmental awareness among students.
The debate revolved around the thought-provoking topic “Should tourism be banned in order to save the environment?” Participants from all four houses – Aravali, Himalaya , Shivalik & Vindhyachal House — confidently presented their views, supporting their arguments with facts, examples, and logical reasoning.
Speakers in favour of the motion highlighted how uncontrolled tourism leads to pollution, depletion of natural resources, habitat destruction, and disturbance to wildlife.On the other hand, speakers against the motion emphasized that tourism is a major source of income, employment, and cultural exchange. They stressed that instead of banning tourism, sustainable practices such as eco-tourism, strict regulations etc. can protect the environment without harming the economy.
HIMALAYA House was declared as as the winner based on content, expression and overall presentation. The event concluded with encouraging remarks from the judges and the Vice Principal, who praised the students for their awareness and urged them to contribute positively towards environmental conservation. The debate proved to be both informative and inspiring for all present.
CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION:
Children’s Day was celebrated with great joy at school for the students. The day began with a Special Assembly conducted by the teachers, which included a prayer, thought for the day, speeches, poems, tongue twisters, amazing facts, a special performance of playing the flute etc. The students were excited to see their teachers on stage and enjoyed every moment.
After the assembly, children of class Play Group to II were engaged in fun classroom activities such as coloring, craft, and musical games. A special attraction of the day was the Pool Lunch, where students enjoyed a relaxing and cheerful meal with their classmates and teachers. Overall, the celebration created a warm and joyful atmosphere, making the day memorable for all the young learners.
REPORT ON ACTIVITIES OF DRUG-FREE UTTARAKHAND CAMPAIGN:
In continuation of the government’s initiative to create a Drug-Free Uttarakhand, Sandalwood School organized a series of awareness activities, on 25th October 2025, to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy, disciplined lifestyle.
The campaign began with a special morning assembly, where students took a pledge to stay away from drugs and spread awareness among their peers and community. The Vice – Principal addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of making wise choices and maintaining a positive attitude towards life.
Various engaging activities were conducted for the students. Students from Junior, Middle and Senior classes participated in poster making, slogan writing, and essay writing competitions on the theme “Say No to Drugs”.
The campaign successfully spread the message of living a drug-free and responsible life. It instilled in students a sense of social responsibility and encouraged them to contribute towards building a healthy and drug-free Uttarakhand.
REPORT ON DEEPAWALI CELEBRATION:
The festival of lights, Deepawali, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion in Sandalwood School on 17th October, 2025 and 18th October, 2025.The entire campus was adorned with colorful decorations, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.The celebration began with a special assembly, where students presented the significance of Deepawali through speech and poem .The Vice Principal addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of celebrating Deepawali in an eco-friendly manner and promoting values of sharing and compassion.
DIYA DECORATION, CANDLE DECORATION, AND THALI DECORATION:
Various competitions and activities were organized to mark the occasion. Students from different classes participated enthusiastically in Diya Decoration, Candle Decoration, and Thali Decoration competitions. Their creativity and artistic skills were beautifully reflected in the vibrant designs and innovative ideas displayed. Each entry glowed with festive spirit and imagination.
INTER-HOUSE RANGOLI COMPETITION:
The highlight of the day was the Rangoli. Competition where all four houses showcased their artistic excellence through intricate and colorful patterns made from flowers, diyas, and eco-friendly colors. The corridors and assembly area looked truly mesmerizing, illuminated with beautifully crafted rangolis.The Deepawali celebration not only brought smiles and excitement but also instilled in students the importance of cultural values, unity, and artistic expression. It was indeed a memorable and enlightening celebration for everyone.
REPORT ON INTER-HOUSE CHESS COMPETITION (FINAL):
The Inter-House Chess Competition was organized in Sandalwood School on 29th September 2025 with great enthusiasm. The aim of the event was to enhance logical thinking, concentration, and decision-making skills among the students.
The final match was a thrilling contest between Himalaya House and Vindhyachal House (Boys) and in girls Aravali House and Himalaya House were the opponents. After intense competition, Himalaya and Vindhyachal House emerged as the winner of the tournament. The competition concluded on a positive note, instilling confidence and inspiring more students to take interest in the game of chess.

REPORT ON GRANDPARENTS’ DAY CELEBRATION FOLLOWED BY RAMLILA:
Sandalwood School celebrated Grandparents’ Day with great love and enthusiasm on 29th September,2025.The program was organized to honor the role of grandparents in nurturing and guiding the younger generation.The event began with the Lighting of Lamp ceremony followed by Saraswati Vandana. A warm welcome of the grandparents was there, followed by cultural performances by students of the junior classes.
Dances dedicated to grandparents filled the atmosphere with affection and joy. Fun games were also conducted for grandparents, which they enjoyed wholeheartedly. Their smiles and blessings made the celebration truly memorable.
After the Grandparents’ Day celebration, the audience witnessed a spectacular performance of Ramlila presented by the students. The play beautifully depicted the episodes from the Ramayana, highlighting Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and the message of truth and righteousness. The students, dressed in colorful costumes, performed with confidence and devotion, winning the appreciation of all.
The Director Dr. (Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma, in the address, expressed gratitude towards the grandparents for their valuable presence and congratulated the students for their efforts in staging a meaningful cultural program. The day ended with the message of love, respect, and the triumph of good over evil, leaving an everlasting impression on everyone present.
RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION:
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION:
The 15th of August was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor at Sandalwood School. The program commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
The Director Dr.(Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma then addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, highlighting the significance of Independence Day and reminding everyone of their duty towards the nation. As part of the cultural programme , students sang patriotic songs – “Saare Jahaan se Accha Hindustan Hamara “ and "Hum honge kaamyaab“ , the teachers also presented a patriotic song, which was well received and added a heartfelt touch to the occasion.
The Vice Principal Mrs. Prachi Panwar also addressed the gathering. The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks proposed by our Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) Mr. Pranay Shikhar, who expressed gratitude to all the participants, staff members, and students for making the celebration a success. The day was a memorable one, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride and patriotism.
INTRA – CLASS LUDO AND CARROM:
On 19 July, 2025, an Intra -Class Ludo and Carrom competition was held for students in classes III-VIII at Sandalwood School.

The event aimed to foster a healthy competitive spirit and provide a platform for students to showcase their skills in these popular indoor games. The competition provided an opportunity for students to develop their strategic thinking, focus, and hand-eye coordination. The event promoted healthy competition and sportsmanship among students, teaching them valuable life skills.
The intra-class Ludo and carrom competition was a successful event that provided students with a fun and engaging way to develop their skills and foster positive social interactions. The event highlighted the importance of indoor games in promoting physical and mental well-being among students.
ART AND CRAFT DISPLAY:
An Art and Craft Display showcasing the creative work of students was held in Sandalwood School on 19 July 2025. The event featured a diverse range of student projects, including paintings, drawings, and handcrafted items, demonstrating their artistic talents and skills. It was well-attended by students, teachers, and parents, aimed to celebrate creativity, encourage artistic expression, and foster an appreciation for the arts. Such initiatives play a crucial role in holistic development by allowing students to explore their artistic abilities and build confidence through public display of their work.
TREE PLANTATION DRIVE:
On the occasion of Harela – “Day of Green”, a significant festival of the state of Uttarakhand, a Tree Plantation Drive was conducted at Sandalwood School Dehradun on 16 July, 2025 and17July, 2025, with great passion, fervor and enthusiasm.
Harela marks the onset of monsoon and the beginning of the sowing season of crops. To mark the significance of the event and to spread awareness with the message of promoting greenery around us, the tree plantation drive was held for the students and teachers. The students planted the saplings and further watered the plants.
KNOW YOUR COUNTRY- INDIA (QUIZ COMPETITION):
On July 15, 2025 Sandalwood School organised a ‘Know Your Country’ General Knowledge Quiz for students from grades UKG to II. The event aimed to enhance the students’ knowledge about India’s history and significant national symbols. It was an Intra Class Competition .The quiz was organized by the respective class incharges.
Questions were crafted to suit the students’ comprehension levels and covered a wide rangeof topics such as capitals , monuments, Prime Minister, President etc. Our worthy Vice – Principal madam and the Head Mistress of Primary Wing congratulated the winners for their outstanding performance.
UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF CIVIC AMENITIES:
A school workshop on Understanding the Importance of Civic Amenities & was conducted on 17th April, 2025. The purpose of the workshop was to educate students and teachers about essential services provided by the Central Government or Local Governments and their importance to community well-being.
The workshop was conducted by the Senior Coordinator Mrs. Deepti Sharma Dogra The workshop included interactive sessions and discussions to enhance understanding of amenities like water, sanitation, public transportation, and infrastructure. Students were encouraged to appreciate the role of citizens in maintaining and improving these amenities.
RED COLOUR DAY:
A Red Color Day celebration in Sandalwood School was a vibrant event focused on introducing young learners to the color red through engaging activities and learning about its significance. Students and teachers dressed in red attire, classrooms were decorated with red accents, and a variety of activities were conducted to reinforce color recognition and spark creativity.
INVESTITURE & FELICITATION CEREMONY:
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025-26 was held with great pomp and dignity at Sandalwood School. The ceremony was administered by the Honourable Director Dr.(Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma, CAO Mr. Pranay Shikhar, Vice Principal Mrs. Prachi and Academic Coordinators Mrs.Deepti Sharma Dogra & Mrs Vibha Rawat.The ceremony was held with zeal and enthusiasm. It commenced with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp. The elected Head Girl and Head boy introduced themselves and they were conferred with badges and sashes by the Honourable Director .
The student council took the pledge to hold the school motto in high esteem. Honourable Director Dr.(Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma addressed them to be impartial and honest in leadership, unity, discipline and morality. The Felicitation Ceremony was also organised to honour the exceptional achievements of students from Class III to VIII who excelled in their Annual School
Examination for the 2024-25 academic session. The event marked a significant milestone in the students’ academic journeys, recognizing their hard work and dedication.
WORKSHOP ON MANAGEMENT OF EXAMINATION STRESS:
It is important for the students to be in a calm state of mind and to deal with any emotion that may be causing distress, during examination. To overcome the stress and anxiety caused during exams and competitions, an interactive workshop on Positive Mindset for Stress-Free Days During Examination; was organised in Sandalwood School on 8th February2025, for the students and parents.
The objective of the workshop was to educate students on ways with which they can deal and relieve stress to excel in their day to day activities, including the upcoming final exams. Mrs. Deepti Sharma Dogra conducted the workshop. While addressing the students, she said that anxiety is a part of human nature, but it is important to know how to overcome it.
In the interactive session, she talked about the types of stress and how to deal with them by giving real life examples, to help students relate and understand. She also emphasised on the stress relaxation therapies like practicing yoga, walking, Meditation etc. which can be easily followed by the students. As she explained to the students about stress management, she said that the students should always share their problems with someone they trust.
She also suggested them to be interactive during the session and ask questions fearlessly. The Director cum Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma, also gave practical advice to the students, on recognising the early signs of stress and to adopt a holistic approach to cope with the inevitable. The session came to an end and helped the students in generating self-awareness and positivity among them and dealing with exam stress like winners.
REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION:
Sandalwood School celebrated the 76th Republic Day on 26 January, 2025 with great eclat. Republic Day in India is celebrated every year on the 26th of January. It was on this day that the Constitution of India was officially adopted and implemented. So, to commemorate this day the school was decorated with tricolors.The auspicious day commenced with the Flag Waving Ceremony by the Director of the school Dr.(Mrs.) Nirmal Sharma & Mr. Shashi Bhushan Sharma accompanied by the CAO Mr. Pranay Shikhar.
The Director addressing the students said that the children are the future of the nation who have to make it secure. Further, to mark the importance of this day, a small cultural programme by the students was organized in the school premises which included dance, and music. Everyone celebrated this day with great gusto towards their country and its constitution. The children were also briefed about the significance of each colour of our national flag.In the end, no celebration is complete without making us feel proud of the fact that, “Saare Jahaan se Accha Hindustan Hamara.
FAREWELL CELEBRATION(BATCH:2024-2025):
The students, staff and management of Sandalwood School bid farewell to the outgoing students of class XII.Filled with curiosity and zeal, the farewell ceremony was organized by the students of class XI on 25th January 2025 in the school campus. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers, to reminisce joyous moments.
The function commenced with the formal welcome of Honourable Director Dr.(Mrs.)Nirmal Sharma and Secretary Mr. Shashi Bhushan Sharma, CAO Mr. Pranay Shikhar and teachers.Director Madam passed on the light of wisdom to all the students of class XII. She told them to uphold the school motto-Education for Knowledge, Wisdom, Character and Courage.
The students were wished good luck for future. Secretary Sir and CAO sir enlightened the students with their inspirational speech. Secretary Sir motivated and mentored the students to live a happy and contended life ahead. The souvenirs were presented to all the outgoing students by the dignitaries as a token of blessings.The cultural programme showcased the multiple talents of class XI students who presented entertaining group dances.Thereafter all students and staff relished the farewell buffet as the day came to an emotional close.

INTRA CLASS CALLIGRAPHY COMPETITION:
“Calligraphy is an art form that uses ink and a brush to express the very souls of words on paper.” An Intra Class English and Hindi Calligraphy Competition on 14th December 2024,was conducted in Sandalwood School for the Primary classes i.e. III to V. The purpose of this competition was to improve presentation skills and to inculcate the habit of good handwriting which has declined due to growing interest in computers and smartphones.
All the students participated with extraordinary zeal and enthusiasm. The teachers gave a paragraph from the text to be written. The assessment was done by the teachers on the basis of writing style, curves and patterns, legibility and beautification.
